Leofoo Cellar-Aged Kaoliang Enters the High-End Gift and Collectibles Market
Targeting the premium gift segment, Leofoo Tourism Group has introduced the limited-edition Leofoo Cellar-Aged Kaoliang, aimed at high-end collectors and corporate gifting markets. Sourced from the Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Distillery’s renowned “liquor reserve bank,” the collection offers long-term appreciation potential and has become a sought-after choice among spirits collectors and asset allocation portfolios in recent years.
The Leofoo Cellar-Aged Kaoliang features two expressions:
– Three years in earthenware jars followed by three years of tunnel cellar aging, and
– Five years in jars followed by three years of cellar aging,
resulting in six-year and eight-year aged vintages respectively.
Through the passage of time, the spirit’s edges are softened and refined. Slowly matured in ceramic jars and granite tunnel cellars, the liquor undergoes years of natural breathing, sedimentation, and harmonization, developing enhanced depth and complexity in aroma and flavor.
Each bottle is personally supervised by the Chief Tasting Master of Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Distillery, crafted exclusively with 100% glutinous red sorghum and distilled during the winter season. Every bottle is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The packaging features a blue-glazed porcelain bottle accented with gold detailing, embodying elegance and collectability—reflecting Leofoo Tourism Group’s unwavering hospitality philosophy over the past 50 years, defined by warmth, refinement, and thoughtful service that create lasting memories for every guest.
The Leofoo 3-Year Cellar-Aged Kaoliang offers a clean, smooth, and gentle profile with delicate aromas and a mellow finish, making it ideal for everyday enjoyment, family gatherings, and banquet occasions. Retail price: NT$19,888 per bottle.
The Leofoo 5-Year Cellar-Aged Kaoliang delivers a deeper, richer flavor with a long, lingering finish, perfectly suited for prestigious gifting and long-term collection, showcasing refined taste and distinction. Retail price: NT$26,888 per bottle.
