Leofoo Foothill Settlement

An important demonstration site for promoting a circular economy, we hope that while developing tourism in Kansai, this land can remain undamaged and unpolluted, maintaining a balance between nature and ecology. Therefore, we use eco-friendly farming, entirely avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We recycle large amounts of animal manure, fallen branches, leaves, and kitchen waste from Leofoo Village, properly process them into organic fertilizer, and use it to nurture and improve the soil here. This produces high-quality crops for visitors to enjoy, serving as a model for a circular economy. It turns black gold into yellow gold, ensuring environmental sustainability while creating local value. Visitors can experience different agricultural activities every season, with professional guided tours introducing the concept of sustainable management in the foothills.
