Creating a Safe and Secure Living Environment for Animals

To provide animals with more spacious and natural environments, we invested NT$6 million in 2024 to expand and optimize multiple habitats, including areas for rhinoceroses, meerkats, and lemurs. For example, a waterway in the Leofoo Resort ecological zone was repurposed into a rhino mud bath, allowing the rhinoceroses to freely roll in the mud for natural insect protection. Additionally, we increased the variety of vegetation in the vertical zones to create habitats that more closely resemble the natural environments of meerkats and lemurs.
