Leofoo Sustainability Awards

To deepen students’ awareness of terrestrial ecology and endangered species, Leofoo Tourism Group, in collaboration with the Chuangfu Cultural and Educational Foundation, has organized the “Leofoo Sustainability Awards – Junior Wildlife Conservation Experts” competition for three consecutive years. The program encourages elementary and middle school students from Taiwan and abroad to produce short films on wildlife conservation themes, with outstanding works selected through a professional judging process.

This year, the competition received 448 submissions, with over 210,000 participants engaging both online and offline. Award-winning students received prizes valued at more than NT$1.2 million, significantly improving access to educational resources.

The competition features bilingual tracks (Chinese and English) to emphasize both life education and language literacy, and includes a special “Courage Award” recognizing the achievements of hearing-impaired students, reflecting the program’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. With total prizes exceeding NT$500,000, the initiative aims to support students and their schools in implementing conservation actions, further deepening teacher and student understanding of sustainability and biodiversity.
