Blood Donation Charity Initiative
In response to the urgent blood shortage faced by blood banks, Leofoo Development Group partnered with HSBC Taiwan, Intel Taiwan, Courtyard Taipei, and Blizzard to co-host the charity blood donation campaign “Rolling Up Sleeves for Love: Hong Kong Has You” on July 23 and October 23, 2024.
The events were held at the outdoor skybridge of CITYLINK Nangang Building A, a high-traffic public area, encouraging community residents and corporate employees to actively participate in blood donation as a way of giving back to society.
To enhance public engagement, a special incentive program was introduced. Donors received Leofoo Palace sour plum drink, buy-one-get-one-free lunch vouchers from Sunrise Restaurant, and were eligible to enter a lucky draw for Diablo® IV Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition, successfully combining public welfare with positive participation experiences.
Over the two event days, a total of 344 units of blood were collected, with 229 participants taking part in the campaign. The initiative effectively alleviated pressure on the healthcare system while strengthening connections among corporate partners and local communities. The campaign demonstrated strong corporate citizenship, social cohesion, and a meaningful contribution to corporate social responsibility and sustainable impact.
